Unfortunately, what trophy hunting does is to weaken a species. The best bulls are cut down in their prime, and their genetic material is displaced by the weaker, more infirm males that hunters leave behind , in favor of the prize bulls.
This pattern can be observed in many species, Including humans, and what our historic wars have cost our own species in genetic vitality.

David,

I'm the lucky hunter who arrowed "The Moose Bull" (Twice). I wrote a story about the hunt and the events leading up to it. I am ready to mail you my story and field photos. Please contact me by email or phone when you get back from you hunt. I hope everything went well for you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
