Yamaha is defintely jumping on board and becoming a big part of the shows this year. Not only did they auction off a Rhino 660 at the SCI Convention earlier in January, but they are now teaming up with SureFire and giving away a decked out Rhino 660 Side by Side at the SHOT Show.
If you are there you better grab a ticket and get your name in the sweepstakes. I know I will as I am heading down Wednesday night. Here is the press release I just received:
Exclusive SHOT Show Sweepstakes Gives Attendees Chance to Win One-of-a-Kind Rhino 660 from Yamaha and SureFire
Cypress, Calif. – February 7, 2006 – Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A. and SureFire have teamed up to build a one-of-a-kind Rhino 660 for the 2006 SHOT Show, giving attendees an opportunity to drive off with the popular vehicle just by visiting the Yamaha and SureFire booths by 3 p.m. on February 11 and filling out the entry form.
“Yamaha is excited to bring this great opportunity to SHOT Show attendees with SureFire,” says Mike Martinez, general manager of ATV/SxS operations. “Last year was Yamaha’s first time exhibiting at the show and it was a great experience for us. We definitely wanted to do something special again this year.”
The sweepstakes prize Rhino 660 will feature one-of-a-kind graphics with the SureFire and Yamaha logos, as well as a number of GENUINE YAMAHA ACCESSORIES including an aluminum top, cargo bed storage boxes, ITP tires and wheels, a Warn winch, front and rear bumper, gun scabbards and a multi-function digital meter featuring speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, clock, and hour meter, drive indicator and coolant temperature indicator light. In addition, the Rhino 660 features SureFire’s 10X Dominator®, the world’s most advanced rechargeable flashlight. Dual reflectors and advanced technology combine to give you a choice of either a bright, long-running working beam (60 lumens for 3.0 hours), or- with a push of the two-stage switch – a searchlight-strength 500+ lumen beam that is 30 times brighter than a typical two D-cell flashlight.
The Yamaha Rhino 660 features a 660cc 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine; Ultramatic© automatic transmission system; On-Command© three-way locking four-wheel drive system and fully independent suspension that have helped establish the Yamaha Rhino 600 as the ultimate hunting vehicle and most capable off-road SxS model available.
To enter the drawing, attendees just need to visit the SureFire booth (Booth #5529) to pick up the entry from and then return the completed form to the Yamaha booth (Booth # 8671) by 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 11. The drawing will take place in the Yamaha booth at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Winner need not be present.
The give away vehicle is just one of many activities happening as a result of the partnership between SureFire and Yamaha. Yamaha is also a sponsor of SurFire’s “Tracks Across Africa” appearing on The Outdoor Channel.

I really would enjoy and appericatewinning. I help my husband to move and drag big deer out of the woods. Sometimes this is very hard on our backs. He has taken deer before, where we could not
get to them with a truck. We do not own any kind of a four wheeler or off road vechicle. .Thank you.
