Wow.... This sounds pretty cool. I have been filming all my own hunts in Alberta, from rifle to spot and stalk bowhunts. Many of these full length videos I have shot by myself. I have struggled immensely with missed oportunities. It seems that anything that can go wrong, does. Alot of blown oportunities has turned into a select few kill shots the camera actually got, but albeit, some great amateur video. It has been a huge learning curve the last 3 years. My equipment is very basic, Sony camcorder, 20 power optical by 700 power digital zoom, and a bargain priced tripod. I have encountered problems with inclement weather, and the equipments dislike for it. I once accidentally dropped the camera out of a tree stand on a blackbear hunt while rigging up a homemade camera bracket to the stand. Not very bright. Luckily it landed on moss, and survived. But the added challenge, and video at the end of it all is more than worth the punishment. Anyways, if anyone has any ideas for making my camcorder a little more water proof, but still quiet to handle on stalks, please consider parting with your knowledge. My camera would appreciate it. Hunt hard.
