Does anyone know if Yamaha has a fix for the gas boiling problem on the 2007 Grizzly 700? Seems to be a dangerous condition, but the dealer has offered no help.

I just bought a blue 08 grizzly 700fi and so far its been a mud eating machine I tried to get it stuck n I couldn't. I had a polaris before and it was a great machine except for the belts. I do hve problems with the gas boiling but it just happend when I was riding in the woods on a 100 degree day. Very impressed with this yamaha

08 Grizzly 700 200 miles Haven't had boiling gas problem, mine just dies while idleing. yamaha does have a recall, but you have to ask for it. kinda not admitting problem. my rev overide kicks in all the time. Tired of pusing button. Installing Dynatek ignition box to cure rev problem and header wrapping exhaust for heat control. Let ya'll know how it works

re yamaha grizzly 700,07/both my son and his friend have the GAS BOILING PROBLEM.Yamaha phone answerers say it is not a safety issue. At the least gas is evaporating when it should not orat the worst it is a fire/explosion potential.Yamaha rep said it is the gases fault for having a lower boiling point than water.

I had the boiling gas problem too, it is because the exaust is too close of the gas tank and when riding at low speed heat stays under the fender... I removed the spark screen in the muffler to let the heat flow out of the exaust... well it worked, no more boiling, they should find a way to make more space between the muffler and tank.

08 grizzly 700 fi eps, I have researched alot of different bikes before i bought this one, and I have come to learn that they all have little problems of their own, however My good freind at the yamaha dealership (who has worked on these bikes for 20 years) assures me that yamaha has addresed the reverse limiter situation, as well as the boiling gas with the 08 models. I bought the outdoor edition with a warn winch and a snow plow. I love this bike and look forward to many years of great service from this awesome machine

My 07 700 grizzly doesn't want to start now that it is cold out. I can start it at the house, and it starts hard, but once I trailer it somewhere its done. So much for the fuel injection being better for cold starts. I've put heat in, seafoam and tried a hotter spark plug. This is not a very good option for ice fishing in Montana. With no pull start it is only a matter of time until I'm walking. Any suggestions?
