some one tryed to poach it with a .22 shot to the head. then left it on the river bank on the hanford reach. Once the water came up it was found floating in the river.

Ad no the new state record did not come from this unit,
It came from the dayton area.

it was about 2 miles above the 300 area on the hanford reach. talked to a guy in sportsmans warehouse about it

I know for a fact that these picture were taken on the Hanford Reach Area in Washington on the Columbia River. I dont know much about it bu I have actually seen these pictures in person they were taken by my buddie’s cousin.

Those pictures look they are along the Hanford Reach, great fishing and elk hunting as these guys found out.
