Potential State Record Muzzleloader Bull Elk

UPDATE: Here is Greg with his potential Utah state record muzzleloader non-typical elk
As reported by John C on his comment on the post New World Record Muzzleloader Typical Elk, there is a potential Utah state record non-typical muzzleloader elk taken that looks like will take over the top spot. The current record is a bull taken from 2005 by Zane Bassett and scores 423 7/8 gross, 392 6/8 net B&C.
Here is what has been said about the new bull that Greg Holman recently took in 2006:
The bull is a 9×8 and I gross unoffically scored him at 414 2/8 and 396 6/8 net but i didn’t give him the proper measurement for his inside spread so I had to add an extra 9 inches so he should score around 423-430 gross and should net around 405. He also has 15 inches of broken tine!!! if intact this bull could be a 440 bull!
It looks like this should not have a problem with this bull becoming the new state record. Hopefully the inside spread will hold true and he can net score over the 400 mark. The #3 non-typical muzzleloader bull in the world scores 406 4/8 net, so Greg’s bull could also be the new #3 or #4 in the world. If this bull hadn’t of broken his left G3 point he would be sailing to a possible overall state record as well.
It looks like Utah is going to get new muzzle loader state records for both typical and non-typical.
UPDATE: This bull has been officially scored and is the new Utah state record non-typical muzzleloader bull elk. He scored in at 422 4/8 gross and 403 2/8 net B&C.
