Babysitter Kills Black Bear to Protect Kids
Another black bear encounter is in the news from Idaho. Apparently a black bear charged out of the brush into a backyard where kids were playing. The babysitter heard one of the kids yell, “Bear! Bear!”. She immediately grabbed the kids and fled inside and closed the sliding glass door with the bear at their heals. The bear started banging on the door. The babysitter grabbed a 7mm rifle (who is a licensed bear hunter), opened the sliding door and shot the bear at point blank range. I think a little extra tip is in store for this girl.
