We Love to Hunt!

October 16th, 2006 David King - King's Outdoor World

As the storm clouds settle in Jon Limpert, Todd Munford and James Limpert pose next to James’ great Utah buck

Here is a post from our very own Todd Munford, factory rep here at King’s Outdoor World. Todd has been busy selling camo and also doing a little guiding on the side. Here is a quick blub from Todd on how his fall hunts have been going so far:

In the fall I am fortunate enough to take a small break from the camo sales and actually hit the woods to test our great camoflauge. James and Jon Limpert, Chris Clemm and myself headed out to Northern Utah for the opener of the 2006 General Season Elk hunt. We guide for Jed and Jen Wayment who own and operate J & J Outfitters out of Henefer, Utah. We had four great hunters with us for the opening day. Larry, Layne, Bill and Phil who all had great enthusiasm and expectations to harvest some nice bullies.

The hunt was awesome. We saw alot of game and filled all four of our tags by Monday afternnoon. Bill and Phil both shot respectable 6 points. Lane shot his first bull elk ever (5 X5) and his father Larry (72 years old) shot a beautiful 52 1/2″ wide 5 X 5. Once all of our hunters headed home James & Jon Limpert and myself started to concentrate on mule deer. James (J Range) had a CWMU deer tag . On a snowy, cloudy morning James made a nice shot on this beautiful 170+ muley.

All of us were wearing Desert Shadow camo. It passed all tests and I can’t wait to get out in the field again. I am the Sales Director for King’s Outdoor World and was so impressed at the functionality and effectiveness of our camo. We love to hunt!

If you’re interested in a 2007 big game hunt, please contact Jed or Jen Wayment with J & J Outfitters (1-435-336-4146).
Have a wonderful hunting season!

I hunt only exclusively with Kings Deseret Shadow and Mountain Shadow now a days. It’s helped me kill a few dandys in southwest colorado over the last few years.

Congratulations! Sounds like a heck of a hunt there fellas!

    Hey, Fellas, great buck.
I’ve recently just started using the Mountain Shadow….the elk I harvested in September was 5 yards away and didn’t even look twice….this stuff is awesome. My dad, brothers and friends are sold, too. Great job and keep it comin’.

I hunt in Kimberly B.C. and the country is like a John Wayne movie set,(Rooster Cogburn) and U.S. desert camo is exactly the colour of the bunch grass meadows here.I`ve almost been stepped on by a cow elk!

They must have taken the pattern from the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. It is a perfect match. I won’t use anything else. Also works well in the low lands for antelope. They didn’t even knowI was there.
