In the post Potential World Record Archery Bull from 2006 I talked about the potential world record archery bull from Montana that was shot in September of 2006. Incredible bull! And looks Walter used some old school gear too. Deflex riser, aluminum arrows, hey maybe we don’t have to use carbon at 300+ fps! Congratulations to Mark and Walter.

This is such a great story, I read it in Eastmans, The bow and arrows are old school, Everything about this gent is old school and class. He had killed a 380 bull or so several years back and hadn’t hunted since, came back to montana from Boston and shot this bull. Also had a home made sight,I think it was. Great story!

Can’t be too old school, it has wheels on it.
Still it shot a feathered pointy thing at a awesome elk!!!

thats a monster bull ! you need to put some tips on the web about getting a shoulder shot like. That GREAT job man.
