410 Elk Sheds from 2007
March 26th, 2007 David King - King's Outdoor World
A beautiful set of 410 gross 7×9 elk sheds found in Utah March of 2007. These sheds have a 7×7 point typical frame with two extra points on the left side. Using an estimated 40-inch inside spread, the antlers have been rough scored at 410 gross B&C.

Sweet bull !!! Sure is light colored A local here just picked up a set that gross 408″ with a 42″ spread They don’t get much better than that!!!

Nice set, haven’t said that since high school. Found a nice 6×7 this year green score of 340 with a nice kicker right at the left G-4, 19″ brow tines and 21″ G-4’s. Got really lucky since lots of guys down here are going into restricted areas before they open which sucks for the animals mostly and then for us honest Joe’s who go by the book. Have been thinking of making a trip to Wyo for the May 1st opening of some of the closed winter ranges. I spend about 100-150 hours shed hunting every spring in Northern New Mexico where we have our fair share of toads. Never sell my sheds although I have been offered some big bucks for the above matching set as well as some really nice Mullies I found this year near the Jicarilla Reservation (remember Louis Chama from that old clint eastwood western–they were looking for him in the Jicarilla) hope all goes well. Keep your powder dry.
