I bought a new sx3 3 1/2 " in Oct. 07. I hunted pheasant in South Dakota shooting federal 2 3/4" magnums and had no problems. When our duck season began in Nov I started shooting Winchester Supreme 3 1/2. I had considerable problems with jamming. Finally the gun shop where I bought it replace the entire trigger assembly. It worked well for the balance of duck season. I recently tried to shoot some target loads and experienced additional problems. I would be interested in anyone elses input on this matter. I love the weight and how the gun mounts.

Ive been looking at these for a while now, I was hoping an extended magazine SX3 would make its way into the gun shops, Is this something that we're going to have to modify oursevles or is it on the way? Thanks,

Jason, in July you left a comment I did not quite understand. You were talking abouit duck hunting in Utah and said it was in bad conditions. Then you mentioned freeze and jam. Did you mean the gun jammed or were you just talking about the weather. The SX 3 seems to be a very fast shooting gun and I'm sure it will be used for duck hunting. As everyone knows Duck Hunting is usually done in bad weather where freezing temps are just a way of life for ducks. It seems from other responses it is pretty reliable. What is you take on it. Thanks
