I stopped by AntlerFest 2007 back on June 9th and got some footage of some of the highlights. Of course many people came to see Landon Wittwer’s amazing mule deer sheds that go 307 gross and are the biggest sheds ever found. There is a glimpse of them here, but I will be posting another video segment a bit later with some great video of these world record mule deer sheds.
There is a cool pickup buck and a quick glimpse of the elk shed from the Skoronski bull that was taken in Utah 2006 that went 428 net typical.

Thanks for posting up the clip David! I’m glad you were able to make it up to the AntleFest to see all the HUGE antlers. It sure was a great turnout and was fun to talk with old friends such as yourself that we only get to see once or twice a year.
For those that are interested in coming next year keep an eye on our website at http://www.antlerfest.org for dates and more information. We will have a meeting shortly and decide for sure where and when we will have the AntlerFest in 2008. Landon and the boys said they’ll bring the 307″ set again and I’m certain by this time next year there will be some other great antlers found!
See you then!

That looks like a lot of fun. I’m down in Eagle Pass, TX but would sure be tempted to head up that way to check out the Antler Fest.
I enjoyed the video. I guess that’s the direction of the Internet. Gonna have to grab myself a video camera sometime to start logging some stuff.
Thanks for the great blog!
