Congrats brady on a buck of a lifetime. After spending alot of time and money scouting, buying the best equipment, and lots of practice. You have accomplished something many only dream about. You make me proud because of your hunting ethics. Some might say you took this deer in a improper manner.Thats to bad.If they new you the way i know you. They wouldnt say the things they do.You deserve respect because you are a very patient hunter.Your hard work payed off. There has been alot of rumors going around about the buck you killed.I guess that is expected. When you take a trophy like yours.I wouldnt know for sure ive been hunting 24 years and havent had that privilage. The only down fall for you is now you have to find a bigger buck to top the one you got. Good luck.

I just got back from Utah and a friend I met there showed me the buck you are talking about in his phone and it's truly a giant.
You are right Dave the Buck in the B&C is not the buck I seen a pic of. This buck is wide and long with huge mass.I can not wait to see this buck in photo's. I did see a few bucks that would of given this buck a run while I was in hunting they are out there. Thanks Mike Pritzl

Guys,

Congrats to the hunter, an AWESOME buck, on public land, general season unit. Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife and the dedicated members have spent 10 years, millions of dollars, and countless miles, phone calls, and meetings to restore deer herds and quality hunting on Utah's great public lands.

We encourage every Utah sportsmen to get involved to address that challanges facing wildlife, wildlife habitat and sportsmen in the coming years.

Don PEay
Founder, SFW.

PS. David, you wrote an article about the average hunter having his day, the current managment system now lets the average guy have his day, and Evan, thanks for being part of getting SFW going

Brad is right, these guys are hunting fools. A friend of mine who called me about this buck, can't wait to see it, it's really massive. I heard over 50" of mass, WOW! I used to live in Emery County and know these guys, they get a lot of big bucks. Do a story about these guys ( I think they are all family members) maybe you can figure out where their secret hunting spots are, lol.

Hey Evan,
Actually the photo that is posted on those sites is actually of another buck taken by Brad Roberts on the Beaver. This is another amazing archery typical Utah buck that is probably going to break the current state record as well. However, it is not the same buck that I am referring to in this post. I am talking about another buck altogether. Wow, two great typicals so far!
