Video: Bowhunter Shoots Two Locked Bucks
November 1st, 2007 David King - King's Outdoor World
Jim Willmsen emailed me his video he posted on this whitetail buck that he shot last week. One twist on the situation, though, was this buck was locked on to another buck that was already dead. Jim shot an 18-point buck deer Friday, October 26, 2007. The deer was dragging a second, 10-point buck, after the two deer had fought and their antlers had become irreversibly locked together. Willmsen talks about the deer, and the hunt.

Nature is rough. I am glad to see that someone was able to put this deer down before it either starved to death or broke its own neck trying to get rid of the smaller buck..
I have seen a story before where a guy killed a buck that was dragging around just the head and spine of another buck. Nature is wierd like that.

I want to thank everyone for the positive comments on my locked bucks I shot!! I wish everyone the best of luck in the future and yes I think this will be very hard to beat. I have hunted even harder after I shot these monsters this season and still have yet to see a monster like this one..Thanks again and wish everyone the best. I will have the bucks at the iowa classic in Des Moines at the end of Febuary if you want to see them in person, Thanks, Jim.
