Arledge Buck - One of Idaho’s Biggest Mule Deer
October 31st, 2008 David King - King's Outdoor World
For those of you who have a 2008 King’s Mule Deer Calendar hanging on your wall, you have been looking at a big buck the past 31 days. The Robert Arledge Buck is featured for the month of October. I figured as you turn the page into November and get another look, I would share a little video of this great buck as it is one of the biggest bucks to come out of Idaho.
The Arledge Buck ranks No. 5 all-time for Idaho scoring 294 4/8 net B&C and was the biggest non-typical mule deer taken by a hunter since 1987 (it was finally beat in 2007 by the Kyle Lopez buck)
Read the Story on the Arledge Buck in our Hunting Illustrated Virtual Magazine.
See a closer look at the custom Re-creation featured in the 2008 King’s Mule Deer Calendar here in the King’s Re-creation Archive.
