How Big is This 2-Point Buck?
October 8th, 2009 David King - King's Outdoor World

Is this the biggest 2 point buck you have seen? There has probably been bigger, but check out this monster 2 point mule deer. This buck was taken recently by Steve Kiesel. How big do you think this buck is? Good backs, decent beams, average mass….I don’t know. Pretty unique. Camo doesn’t look too bad either.
Update: What is your guess on the score of this two point. I just found out and couldn’t believe it. Give me your thoughts and I will post the score in a couple of days.

My guess is around 100. It’s really difficult for a forkhorn to get much bigger considering your basically just scoring the main beams, the g2’s, and some circumferance measurements.

I’m thinking its going to score in the 138-140 area. don’t see many two points like that one.

I still think 140’s tops 150.
The only measurements he is missing G-3’s and G-4″s Give him 18″ per side if he had 3’s and 4’s that would put him in the 180’s

I come up with 156″
Assuming 28 wide, 28 inch MB, 18 inch g2 and 18 inches of mass on each side

I’d call him Mr. 20’s. 20″ main beams, 20″ inside spread, his shortest G-2 20″,and 20″ total circumference = 120″ total

looks to me like bad genetics he looks pretty young though probably a 130″ you people that say 150 and up must have not seen very many deer where you know the score already.

i got something close to tha my grandpa shot a spike horned whitetail buck and both spikes measured over 13′ inches
27. Justin | November 2nd, 2009 at 5:12 pm
24 inch main beam
20 Inch G2
24 inside spread
5 H1 (generous)
4 4/8 H2 (generous)
2 4/8 H3 & H4 (yes he gets them both, you always get 4 per side)
82 4/8 1 side
160 class
