I just got a notice from the Rocky Elk Foundation about the program tonight on HDNET. Check it out if you can. If you don’t know yet, wolf hunts have begun in both Idaho and Montana after a back and forth battle in the courts. It will be interesting to see how this reports comes across.
Tune in tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern to Dan Rather Reports on HDNET.
Dan Rather Reports is doing a story on the first wolf hunt in Montana. The story will focus on the wolf’s impact on ranching as well as wildlife. The RMEF will be represented, speaking to the impact wolves have had on wildlife and the need for management of wolves through hunting.
HDNET is channel 362 on Dish Network. For information on what channel HDNET is in your area and/or provider go to http://www.hd.net/subscribe.html.
The program will also be available on I-Tunes tomorrow.

I agree with Travis we need to keep a handle on the predator population. The wolf packs in wyoming have hit the the moose very hard, It would be nice to find a away to keep the wolf packs under controle

This is why I dont go to Idaho and Montana anymore….The wolf has desimated the deer and elk herds…..not to mention the local economies that are devistated by not having the out of state hunters’ dollars……..Did the wolf lovers think of that???
The 3 “S” rule applies here…..
Shoot….Shovel….and Sut-up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
