Rose Rackman harvested the new No. 2 Mountain Goat in the state of Utah in 2011. Not only is it one of the biggest Mountain Goats to ever be taken in the state, it is also the biggest taken by a woman. Rose’s Billy scores 53 2/8 B&C.
Rose made a 357 yard shot on him. The horns were 10 5/8″ on one side and 10 3/8″ on the other making him a real beauty. A great shot, some really good photos and a very memorable hunt. Will make for a great entry in our 2011 King’s Camo Photo Contest. The Desert Shadow Camo looks good. Keep it up.

Craig Rippen was hunting in 2006 with Shawn Labrum of Wild Mountain Outfitters. After a very challenging hunt, Craig finally knocked down a true monarch of a Billy.
After the official sixty-day drying period, Craig’s goat ended up scoring an amazing 54 2/8 B&C and is the biggest Rocky Mountain Goat for the state of Utah and at the time was 17th in the world.
