That was the email I recently received from Cody. Of course I emailed him back to get some pics and find out a little more about the hunt. Here is a little more information from Cody about the hunt. Congratulations Cody on a great archery mule deer. And Thanks for being a great customer.
I was lucky enough to draw a Paunsaugunt Utah archery deer tag this year. I went all out bought all new everything camo, bow, arrows, broad heads, everything I could to even up my odds. I scouted very hard finding this buck along with another that was probably a little bigger. Opening day found me decked out in King’s Camo and sneaking around looking for Mr. Big which I found. But due to rangefinder malfunction I miss judged how far he was and missed. Kings Camo blended me in so good I even got a second shot…. well buck fever had set in an it resulted in another clean miss… The second night of my hunt I ran into my second choice buck and sealed the deal. Couldn’t be happier.
